    Simple Grill With Easy Cleanup
    I just bought a low-end George Foreman Grill for the first time! It was no special setting or timing buttons, no fancy plates, etc., but I can remove the plates and use the grill for a variety of food. The bonus is that it's so easy to clean. I think the plates are easier to clean than the silicone plates. Crusty parts come off easily with soap and water, with no residue remaining. Sometimes less is better!

    I love my grill; our first venture using it we made grilled ham, turkey and cheese sandwiches. They were ready in about 3 minutes. The cheese was melted throughout, and we use A LOT of cheese. Cleanup is easy. However, when I was unpacking it the top tapped (not hard at ALL) the counter, and a nice chunk broke off. I figure, my fault, I'll keep it. But remember, it's FRAGILE.

    Great product Great price!
    I bought one of these units a year ago. It performs as well as the ancient grill I had that just stopped working after 25 years! It heats up quickly, no temp control, and cooks everything in a matter of minutes. The grill area is somewhat small so I bought a GRP99. This unit, with all it's controls,does not heat as well as the 1060. Today I bought another 1060. I retired the GRP99 and ran both 1060's side by side. The speed and quality is superb. I recommend buying 2 GRP 1060's for a large cooking area if needed--if you watch the sales, the cost could be equal or less than the GRP99 and the unit performs so much better. The removable plates are great and cleaning the unit is easy. Simple is better.

    I bought this grill in red for the removable grill feature as an upgrade to my original that I had for many years without any problems. However upon my second usage of this upgrade, I encountered a problem with the top grill plate coming loose from the base when opened (a potential safety hazard). Fortunately, there is an easy way to avoid this. My husband noticed that the grill plates both have tabs that fit into two slots on the grill base. If you look at the grill plate carefully, you'll see this. We inserted the tabs on the grill plate into the slots on the base, put the clips in place, and voila! No more coming apart. I love this product and I'm looking forward to having years of use.

    Wish it came in "White"!
    Much improved version of my favorite kitchen appliance! Removable plates are awesome! Images available online are not representative of its true color (it's actually dark gray). Really wish it came in "White" like so many other kitchen devices!
